I went ahead and changed the Marhsall DC IP to 10.40.143.1 (from 10.40.143.3)
Everything seems to be working on it now.
In the process, I found that do-dc1 is having some major problems, which, I’m not sure how long this has been happening, but I’m pretty sure this is the server that is responsible for DNS stale record scavenging, so if it was having some problems there, it may explain why some of the reverse DNS pointers haven’t been getting cleaned up as they’re removed from the network. I will be looking at that tomorrow morning.
