Progress on Citrix retirement

As mentioned before, I have spent the afternoon disconnecting servers that used to belong to the Citrix farm. It wasn't an easy task, given that every possible production server that we have is pretty much sitting on top of the Citrix cables and servers.  (As far as I know, I didn't disconnect anything production related, if I'm mistaken, please let me know)

Below are some pictures of the racks now... for your enjoyment :)
The rack on the right had the 2 BIG IPs, as well as the 2 SQL servers. The lonesome server is ABI Demo, which we're still working on removing.
On the right, in the middle, citrix-fs1, removed, as well as the EMC CX200 SAN on the very bottom.

The BIGIP boxes are on the table, but were camera shy. They do, however, send you their warmest regards. (and so does the 192 network!)

That's only a small part of the cable galore that we yanked out of the back of those servers.

For now, and for the first time, we can say our power on the PDUs is completely unbalanced, but yet, somehow that's a good thing this time. :)

As you can see, the server room is still a mess right now, but I'm working on cleaning this up, but at least all the servers are out.

Also, special thanks to Steve Bibler for spending a few hours with me unscrewing racks, and pulling out servers, and cutting cables!

Bye Bye Citrix!
