Last night, I performed some major updates on the VMHost at Briggs (433-vmhost1), Cortez (308-vmhost1), Canyon Hills (204-vmhost1), and Newman (303-vmhost1)
This upgrade brought these servers up from version 3.5i to 4.0 (vSphere). This was done so that the versions of VMWare are uniform, as well as to be able to use the vSphere licensing model, to which we actually have the licenses. There are a couple more schools that will need to be updated, and I will be doing those in the near future.
The guest OSs: 433-dc1, 308-dc1,308-studc, 204-dc1, and 204-stu2dc, 303-dc1 have all been updated with the latest windows patches, latest LANDesk client, and updated the VMWare tools on them.
They have all been verified to be back online. If anyone sees any weird behavior from these school servers, please let me know, and I can take a look at it.
There is still Liberty (321-vmhost1) to be upgraded. As well as all the Windows VMWare hosts out there: Chino, Dickson, Buena Vista which need to have a more elaborate upgrade process, as there is no upgrade path to ESX.
