Mission Compellent Upgrade: SUCCESS!!

The Compellent Controller upgrade this evening has been successfully completed. Thankfully, we didn’t run into any glitches, and were able to bring everything back up successfully.

We are now running on two fail-over controllers (tested and verified), 4 redundant fiber connections, and 4 (will be upgraded to 6 as soon as we connect them to switches), manually load balanced/redundant iSCSI connections.

Dave also moved the ESX2 host, and the vSphere server into its permanent location. (Thanks Dave!!).

The downtime we had was from 7:00pm through 8:00pm. All services have been verified to be running.

Please keep a close eye on things on Monday morning, just in case something looks unusual, that may be related to the SAN storage.
