New Night scan agent available

I have create a LANDesk agent, especially for people who leave their workstations on at night. This special configuration moves all the CPU consuming scans to the middle of the night, so that the workstation isn’t busy performing them during business hours. Obviously, for most people, this agent is not viable, as they are asked by Maintenance to power down their computer before going home.

 

However, for most of us in the Technology department at least, and a few other exceptions, we tend to leave our computers on at night for different reasons, and therefore can take advantage of this configuration.

 

I have already applied the configuration for those of you who contacted me and expressed interest.

If anyone else is interested in having this agent, please drop me an email with the name of the workstation that you’d like changed over.
