I know that for most, it is enough to get any postings to this blog via emails sent to the webposts@chino.k12.ca.us distribution group. There are a couple of additional pointers I'd like to add:
- If you prefer to keep the postings in your email box, that works fine. However, you all should have access to get to the blog itself, and look at posting from within, for a couple of reasons:
- You have much better search capability through the blog, as well as access to browse by tags, which could correspond to what you are looking for.
- Sometimes, I find a typo, or make a change to an article after I publish, and the initial email has been sent out. These changes don't send additional emails. So if you are looking for the most up to date information, it's better to go to the blog itself.
- As a reminder, the blog address is: http://cvusdchangelog.blogspot.com (and now has a nice Mobile version as well). You can login to it with your google credentials. The link to each article is also at the bottom of the emails that you receive.
- A lot of times, I send out emails, and I get replies from some of you, only to find out they are being blocked by the Barracuda. (even after adding a bunch of exceptions for those subject lines). So, if you need to reply, please go ahead and change the "To:" field to my district address before sending. (instead of my gmail account)
- If you feel that a reply may be beneficial to the group, it may be better to post it as a comment to the article, instead of an email directly to me.
