I have had a couple of reports that the search field in the "Inventory" section would not return the correct results in Internet Explorer. (seems to work ok with Chrome and Firefox)
I have opened a case with KACE, and they mentioned that this is currently a known bug.
Until this is fixed, and in order to get the correct search results, make sure you click on the "Search" button, instead of just pressing the enter key. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Tab -> Space. The "tab" key will shift focus to the "Search" button, and the "space" key will activate it.
I will send out an update as soon as this issue is resolved.
In the next day or two, I will have to upload the new client bundle package to the KACE server. Unfortunately, this is the only way I'll be able to test it, and update the scripts for automatic install. During that time, I will disable the functions that install the KACE agent upon login.
When enabled, all machines that currently have the 5.1.38724 agent will automatically upgrade to the latest 5.3 version, and no action should be required on your part.
The only time you would need to install the agent, would be on a new install.
The new agent will be located at \\kbox\client\agent_provisioning\windows_platform\ampagent-5.3.buildnumber-x86.msi (where build number will refer to the build of the current agent, which I don't know yet).
As soon as I spend some time on the test machine, I will update you with a bit more detail regarding the new agent, and some easier methods of installation.
Meanwhile, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
