Update on do-fs1

Last night, I spent more time than I had expected on do-fs1.
I was able to fix the Nod32 issue, and Windows updates were giving me a very hard time to install.
After some struggles, I was able to install all the patches, but not Service Pack 1. The issue is space on the C:\ drive. Apparently 5Gb of free space isn't enough to install a Service Pack on Windows 2008 Server. (this actually gives me more work on other servers now as most other servers are probably in the same boat). But in regards to do-fs1. I will be looking into a way to expand the system drive, in order to be able to install the service pack on it.

I will probably be doing this over the weekend, in order to have ample time to fix things in case something goes wrong.

If you have any questions or concerns, please not hesitate to contact me.

  • This work will be tentatively scheduled for this weekend. 03/10-11/2012
