Changed the IP address of 309-DC1 from 10.40.175.3 to 10.40.175.1
Also modified the IP spreadsheet to reflect the change.
Here are the steps that were taken to make the change:
- Change the IP on the adapter
- On the command prompt, run the following:
- ipconfig /flushdns && ipconfig /registerdns
- nbtstat –R && nbtstat –RR
- Open DHCP configuration in the server scope, and change the DNS entry to reflect the new IP of the server.
- Restart DHCP.
- Open DNS, and under the primary zone, go to the Name Server tabs, and verify that the server has the correct IP listed.
- For good measure, restart netlogon:
- net stop netlogon && net start netlogon
- Run “netdiag” to verify all network connectivity restores
- Run “dcdiag” to verify AD functionality.
- This change was made on 04/02/2009 @ 9:00pm
- Target: 309-dc1 and ddsn-easy
