I have created a distribution group to this blog, that will notify you guys when there's a new post or comments posted. If this is annoying for you, you can simply opt out by removing yourself from the WebPosts distribution group in Active Directory.
(Comment notification can be turned of in general, and you can subscribe to a comment thread of interest to you individually).
