LANDesk App Blocking and Distribution Packages

I have enabled Application Blocking in LANDesk for certain categories which are usually malicious, like Virus type, key loggers, etc … I haven’t seen any problems with it so far. Please keep an eye on anything that may be caused by enabled.

I do, however, kindly ask that you would exercise due diligence in analyzing the situation before pointing the finger at this feature being enabled.

Also, I have added some packages back to LANDesk, which are ready to be used:

• Righfax 9
• Easy Grade Pro 4.0 and Easy Grade Pro 4.0.3 Udpdate
• AppXtender – for Viatron
• Microsoft Office packages are also available for pushing now.

I’m in the process of adding more of the applications. From here on out, most of the apps will be lab applications though. I will keep you updated as more packages become available.
