LANDesk 8.8 SP4 Agent for Windows 2000 A/V

I received word from LANDesk today that they released an SP4 patch for LANDesk 8.8, which seems to contain the fix for the Windows 2000 clients infected with Conficker. I had no easy way of testing whether this works, but I did make the agent available on the setup page under: LANDesk Windows Workstation Agent / LANDesk Windows 2000 Agent – AV – DS.

Please go ahead and install that agent  on the Windows 2000 workstations that you may encounter that have the KIDO virus.

I’m still working on a way to be able to us that client update to all existing 2000 workstations.
