In the past few days, I have been doing some additional pilot testing on the login script on Townsend and Newman.
The results have been quite satisfactory.
At this point, I have enabled Ayala's new login script and will be monitoring that tomorrow.
Helpdesk, please keep me informed of any issues that may come up for that site.
If this test goes well, then I will go ahead and put the script in production, and we will be able to get most of the non-deep-frozen computers all setup with KACE, Nod32, Dameware, and remove the LANDesk agent in one step.
Shortly, we should be able to make the switch from LANDesk, and start using KACE primarily for inventory and remote control. Other items (i.e: patch management, asset management, and software distribution are still in the works).
