Update: New Data Locations

I know that I had mentioned that I will not be sending blog posts for every change. However, this weekend, I have moved almost everything from do-fs2 to do-fs1 (subsequently from the XServe RAIDs to the Compellent storage).

This pretty much covers any department at the district office, and their user home folder (in addition to Adult Ed user folders).

Please do rely on the wiki information to figure out the new user data locations, as digging in the servers in their current state will be quite confusing, as I have left some of the data in its original location until I verify that things are well. 

As a general rule though, this is the main change to remember:

• Every user share and user folder that used to be in \\do-fs2\group2$ is no longer.  Those folders used to have user data in them. i.e: \\do-fs2\group2$\curriculum used to contain the user folders inside that folder. 
• The new folders are as follows:
• Department folders (no exceptions at this point in time): \\do-fs1\group$\department 
• User folders (also no exceptions at this point in time): \\do-fs1\user$\[UserName]
