Today, I will be performing a firmware upgrade on the Compellent SAN controllers.
This should be a non-service interrupting maintenance window, so everything should be available during the upgrade. I will be performing this at 4:30, just to be on the safe side. If all goes well, it should take somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour.
There are some disk drive firmware updates that will also be done, but these will require us to turn off the SAN, which means, we'd have to turn off everything connected to it. We will schedule this update at a later time, as it's not anything critical.
