Today I discovered some problems do-fs1's and do-tech's backups. I have worked on resolving some of them without affecting services to users. However, I will still have to take these servers down tonight, to try and troubleshoot the deeper problem.
My research shows that we may possibly have some file system corruption, which may require some more drastic action, like an System File Check, or even a repair install of Windows.
I will attempt to get things up and running by tomorrow, or worse case, I will hold off on some of the backups, to keep the user volumes online. For now, the good news is that this problem is only affecting the daily backups. The bad news, is that these volumes pretty much contain about 90% of our backups, so this problems needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
