Dameware now pushing to clients via KACE

As I had mentioned in yesterday's post. I have created a distribution package that will push the Dameware agent (version 8.0.0.102) which is the latest one to the workstations.
If the machine does not have the agent at all, it will be installed.
If the machine has an agent with a file version  in C:\Windows\dwrcs\dwrcs.exe  less than 8.0.0.102, it will be upgraded.

Two separate packages [distributions] have been created. One for Windows XP and another for Windows 7.

Again, the advantage of installing the agent in this manner instead of the login script, is that it will install regardless of who is logged in to the machine, as long as the KACE agent is on there already.
The other advantage is that since all machines will be upgraded, the helpdesk will spend less time waiting for the agent to be upgraded to the latest version every time they get a call from a user they haven't helped in a while.

Pro Tip: For computer setups, if you want to force the software package pushes (i.e: Nod32 and Dameware installation), you can type the following on the command prompt:

C:\Program Files\Dell\Kace\runkbot 6 0
