Microsoft released 2 patches yesterday that break the VMWare View Client connectivity to the View servers for clients who are running Windows 7 operating system.
These 2 patches are 2482017 or 2467023.
I will be able to fix this by creating a new ThinApp package with a newer version of the View Client that will resolve the problem. Meanwhile, if you get calls with the above combination of OS / View Client, please uninstall whatever patch that was installed. (could be one or the other installed. So far I haven't seen both installed at the same time).
After uninstalling, reboot the machine, and the View Client should work again.
I will provide the new View Client ASAP.
