I was working on allocating computers which currently exist in the COMPUTERS OU in Active Directory to the appropriate OUs for the departments or schools. I have stumbled on a few that have no indication on what they are.
Here are the examples. (This also indicates that the naming that was used for those was not accurate enough to pinpoint where the machine should've been). If you know where these machines are supposed to go, please go ahead and move them to the appropriate OUs.
For District Office Computers, they will be in a Sub OU under: Chino --> District Office --> Computers --> Department Name
For School Computers, they will be in a Sub OU under: Chino --> Schools --> Computers --> School Name
CP-CIRC01-3 and CP-TEXTBK: Is this at the district office? No reference in the name.
DO-BR1-CVUSD: This sounds like it is at the DO, but I have no idea what BR1 is, nor the reason for a CVUSD suffix.
DO-CANONSCAN-01: That has the model of the device in it. (not appropriate according to our conventions). and does not tell us where the machine is.
DO-SOIKELLI: This is at the DO, but what department?
Any help with those would be appreciated.
Thank you.
